NAVJEEVAN

NAVJEEVAN, is a project primarily dedicated to facilitate Children's Health Care and Rehabilitation. It intends to provide moral and financial support to those unfortunates, distressed by acute diseases, unpredictable illnesses or striving to conquer physical disabilities.

Uninvited guests in the form of acute or unpredictable illnesses always spoil the peace of mind and happiness of the entire family. Most underprivileged families find it hard to understand the medical needs or are at times hesitant to proceed with  it  due to financial limitations. Navjeevan provides a helping hand at this juncture. With the support of trusted and competent people from our circles, facts regarding the patient status and medical needs are ascertained, which provides the much needed clarity on the way forward. By providing the much needed moral support and by sharing the financial burden to a fair extent, we sincerely strive our best to make a difference in those critical times.

Children with disabilities are always a cause of anxiety to their parents mainly due to the fact that they are seen by many as a liability for the home as well as society. History states the fact that such kids when properly cared and guided have  the potential  to reach unprecedented heights. Navjeevan aspires to play a key role in  rehabilitating  such children and aims to cater to their special needs, which can make them self reliant

Navjeevan which is among the latest initiatives of Sanmarg has already started changing lives through consistent efforts.The Help Jayadwani cause which we took up to support 3 year old Baby Jayadwani's fight against cancer was our first and most gratifying experience. Our timely intervention and continued support over many months has helped her treatment to progress, which as of now has given her a new lease of life. She is getting back to normal life and has started attending school.

14 year old Sruthi living in an orphanage is gifted with good drawing and learning skills, even when she fights severe hearing impairments. Inspired by her positive approach to life, Navjeevan Gifted her the much needed higher end hearing equipment. All that was just noise for her has since changed into voice and sound. With her eyes getting the freedom to do much more than just lip reading, she now has a new vison for life. She is currently  undergoing special coaching and will be moved to a normal school in the coming years.

In the days ahead Navjeevan is committed to changing  lives and help the distressed gain a new lease of life
